Mistletoe has been used as a medicinal plant since ancient times. It has been widely studied as a natural treatment for cancer, and is one of the most commonly prescribed therapies for cancer patients in Europe.
Mistletoe extracts have been shown to strengthen immune function, reduce disease progression and protect healthy cells. They can also enhance overall quality of life by improving sleep, energy and appetite, and reducing pain.
Mistletoe extracts are administered by injections under the skin and/or intravenously two to three times a week. The duration of treatment depends on the type and stage of cancer, as well as patient response to treatment.
